REEL HUNTER, At Your Service. Yes I know! Those of you who have visted the site over the last few years have not seen much in the way of updates ! I want to thank-you all for the great support and kind emails, and even to those collectors and visitors who have emailed me, asking when i intend to update the site! Well i have done alot of thinking about how best to do this ! To monitor both Ebay and Tradera is very time consuming and to be honest, I dont have the same amount of time on my hands, as i had 2-3 yrs ago! But i am still monitering both sites, still buying and adding reels to my collection, and still helping others find those special reels missing from their Abu collection.. I'm not such a whizz kid with all this modern technology either.. I only discovered Twitter after buying an Andriod phone 6 months ago and was so amazed that i could get all the latest news from my home in New Zealand and around the world, minutes after it happened - direct onto my phone and computer - Fantastic ! This also gave me a great idea !! What if i could offer this service to all the Abu Fans around the world ? Send a "Tweet" out to you all when that "special" Abu fishing reels comes up on either Ebay or the Swedish auction site Tradera, How many of you missed the Black Abu Ambassadeur 5000 which sold 13th July 2011 for $5600 USD !!!!!! (Not updated on my site yet) This is now the HIGHEST PRICE PAID for an Abu Reel, since i have been collecting! Or how about the Abu Record 6000 which sold for $2820 USD (July 2011) on the Swedish auction site - Tradera! Or the Abu Ambassadeur 6500C that sold on Ebay for $2032 USD (July 2011) How many of you would have bid - if only you had of known these reels were up for auction ? You may never see another Black Abu Ambassadeur5000 reel come up again for a very long time :( Sooooooo - My idea is simple, follow me on Twitter - And i will "Tweet" you every time something Abu "Special" or "Rare" comes up on either Ebay or Tradera.. Will even add a link (if i can ?) And if the item appears on Tradera (Swedish site) I will send you the info in "english" When i see at least 20 of you Abu Freaks following... I will begin my "Tweeting"... My hope of course is to get as many of you as possible on board, so that i feel i am doing "YOU" a service... No point or satisfaction in Tweeting myself !!! Hope on board now - So i can start a.s.a.p Have also set up a FACEBOOK page - but have no idea how to use it yet !!!
