Swedish Post Office
Purchased a reel from me ?
Here you can get confirmation that I have posted your reel - At the top of the page you will see a heading that reads"
Fyll i ditt kolli-id eller brev-id". In English it basically means Enter the  tracking number that i sent you via email.  Really this is all you need, as it will CONFIRM that the number I have given you, really does exist.! Of course if you know Swedish you can then read where your package currently is.

If you are new to Paypal, its very simple and free to create an account and send payment. The most important thing for you as a buyer is that your personal details and credit card information is stored with them fully encrypted. This means no-one including myself will ever ask you for any credit card details - period !

Other Abu Websites
If you have a website about Abu and would like a link here, just ask, will be glad to add you.

Abu Garcia
Home of Abu Garcia - What I like best about their page, is that they have provided reel schematic's for alot of reels. Whilst I couldn't find anything for the older RECORD series, the Ambassadeur range seems to be covered. For example if you have an Ambassadeur 5000, 5000A or 5000B you can download a pdf file for your reel - Great :) I Also found their "Tips and Techniques" section interesting reading.

Real's Reels
This is probably the most complete english Abu website I have seen. It is HUGE and the owner Wayne, together with his son Fintan have produced a fantastic website. Probably should also be renamed to ABU - The Never Ending Story !
A definite must for any serious Abu collector. Take your lunch with you !

Swedish Abu Site (In both Swedish and English)
This site was in the process of changing hands, but when I last visited it, everything seemed to be intact.
Another great resource for the Abu Fan.
Here you can also read a little about the history of Abu (Site is in English + Swedish).

The Abu Ambassadeur Collectors Webpage
One of the first sites I found when searching google. Pity about the yahoo advertising, but if you dont mind getting ads each time you surf a new page, then this site is also worth a visit.

Don Iovino
Oo000hhh la la - You have heard of custom hotrods, custom cars and custom motorbikes, well meet the man (Don Iovino) who makes custom Abu's... A nice site for those of you that are looking for something a little extra in an Abu Reel and for dreamers like myself :)

Antique Swedish Fishing Reels
Another fantastic resource for Abu Collectors. Here you will also fine other not so well known, Swedish fishing reels, for example, Arjon, River, Victory, Nordic and Craftman to name a few. Well worth a visit. Here you can also read a little about the history of Abu (Site is in English + Swedish).

Abu Freak - Derrik (German Abu Site)

Still updating the english version last i looked (July 09)... Cmon Derrik put the fishing rod away and update.. hi hi Mvh / Pete

Abu Related Books - A MUST for any serious collector
Whilst I have no connection to any of the authors of these books, I can honestly say that they are a must have resource for any serious Abu collector.

Vintage Fishing Reels Of Sweden by Daniel Skupien
The first book I purchased, and still one of the most valuable sources of information for me. If you are a new collector, or even if you have collected for a while, I would recommend this book to anyone. A fantastic resource from start to finish.

The Ambassadeur and I plus The Ambassadeur and I "Final Chapter"
Another must have, these 2 books written by Simon Shimomura contain a complete study of Abu's serial numbers, pictures of prototype reels, pictures of pre-assembled sideplates, and even some blueprints that have never been introduced to the public.

''Abu and Garcia - What Happened?'' Book by Len Borgstrom
The link has dissappeared, however i have the book, and i know where to buy them from here in Sweden.. I'm not sure if this book was ever written in english ? Anybody out there know ?
